What is Ammonite?
Ammonite is a type of fossil formed from the shells of ancient sea creatures that lived millions of years ago. Ammonites lived in the oceans between 240 and 65 million years ago, until they became extinct at the same time as the dinosaurs. Over time, their shells were buried by sediment and transformed into stone through a process called fossilisation.
Today, ammonites are prized for their beautiful spiral patterns and symbolic meaning — representing growth, evolution, and the cycles of life.
